Anyone here ever install laminate flooring on their own? I want to do my dinning area and I need to know if I can do it in a weekend.

It's so easy. Get the good padding not the cheap stuff. Get the plastic thingie and metal thingie you use to hit the with a hammer. And the best advice is to stagger your planks in differant legnths for at least four rows. (ie. first plank in corner full legnth next one over cut 6" off next one over cut 3" off next one over cut 8" off. you want all your joints to look random.) I made the mistake in a bedroom of doing full joint then half joint then full joint and so on and it looks cheap, But it sure was fast. Call me if this does'nt make sense 310-864-0799. Oh ya leave at least a 1/4" gap around the outside for expansion, or the floor will buckel up when it gets humid. We love ours trevor rids his scootor on them and there fine.

I understand the stagger. I guess I'm going to have to go to the thingie store.
